nfrastructure Improvement Updates  Agatite/Laramie Water Main Replacement

Please be aware that starting late August, Department of Water Management crews will begin to install a new water main along West Agatite from North Central to North Lavergne, and along North Laramie from West Sunnyside to West Agatite. The old water main dates back to 1915 and needs to be replaced.

This week, the City Council voted to extend the inspector general’s authority to cover allegations of law and ethics violations by aldermen and their staff. Although the expansion brings some real oversight to the council on illegal and unethical activity, it does not go nearly as far as I would like.
