2017 has been declared the Year of Public Art. With this designation, we have a unique opportunity to commission up to two (2) unique, site-specific pieces of public artwork in the 45th Ward, but we need YOUR help!

Please take a moment to complete an online survey by May 4, sharing your thoughts on public art. My office will then select three artists we would like to interview based on the survey responses.

Dear Neighbor,

With Easter this Sunday, I want to take the opportunity to wish everyone a joyous and relaxing holiday with their friends and family.

Share your ideas to improve the 45th Ward at a neighborhood assembly!

Beginning May 4, we will host five (5) neighborhood assemblies where we will gather infrastructure improvement ideas from stakeholders. Past ideas have included pedestrian refuge islands, the Independence Park playground, and bike lanes along Milwaukee.
